Schulz Cellars is a member of several wine related associations. Check out the links below for more information on ZAP, Family Winemakers of California.

Zinfandel Advocates and Producers - ZAP - The Association of Zinfandel Advocates & Producers is a non-profit, educational organization. ZAP is dedicated to advancing public knowledge of and appreciation for American Zinfandel and its unique place in our culture and history. Winegrowers, winemakers and wine enthusiasts combine to form the membership. The common focus is the preservation and recognition of Zinfandel as America’s heritage wine. ZAP also hosts the Worlds Largest Zinfandel tasting event every Janyuary at Fort Mason in San Francisco. Check back in our "EVENTS" section for more information about the next ZAP tasting.

Family Winemakers of California - Family Winemakers of California was formed in response to a need for the small wine producers voice to be heard in public policy decisions. The association is structured on a one-winery, one-vote basis to ensure that all viewpoints are considered in policy positions. Family Winemakers also assists its members in marketing their wines by organizing two wine tastings each year. One is in the Southern California market for the wine trade. The other is our annual San Francisco tasting that just completed its 16th year. The San Francisco event is a two-day event in which consumers can attend the first day. The tastings allow small producers to cost effectively reach the wine buying trade.
